WHAT IS PERFORMANCE THERAPY?
Performance Therapy combines evidence-based myofascial techniques with functional stretching to create lasting change in the way your body moves and feels.
This integrated approach improves posture, enhances mobility, and reduces joint and muscle discomfort—helping you perform at a higher level, both in sport and daily life.
Sean Fernandez is a Certified Fascial Stretch and Registered Massage Therapist with over 8000+ hours of experience in personal training, fascial stretch, and manual therapy. Since receiving his certificate in 2018, he has worked to create a unique system that has helped hundreds of clients improve mobility and perform their best. Sean graduated from Bryan College with a diploma in Massage Therapy, expanding his understanding of the body to improve his capability as a practitioner. Sean has experience with a range of physical needs – from NBA/NFL players and professional athletes to office workers and older folks looking to improve their mobility.

It can be, depending on your individual pain tolerance as well as the specific areas being treated. However, clients have mentioned it as a “good hurt” since our method of targeting deep-rooted tension, results in an instant feeling of relief after the session. Should you feel any discomfort during the session, simply communicate with Sean and he will accommodate accordingly.

The initial treatment session includes:
An assessment to scan through areas of the body that may not be moving optimally. This includes postural assessment, muscle testing, and range of motion.
You will then be debriefed on a potential recovery plan based on what problem areas you would like to target and how many future sessions may be needed.
Treatment will then begin based on the recovery plan
After the session is over, you will receive homecare guidance on how to move and navigate throughout your everyday pain-free.
It is also to be expected that after your initial treatment, you may feel a bit more soreness similar to the delayed onset muscle soreness you get from a difficult workout.

Yes Sean accepts insurance, however, he does not provide direct billing. Receipts will be issued for you to submit to your insurance providers for reimbursement.

Each session may involve a series of movements in order to assess your current body state. Comfortability is always a priority but in order to properly treat you the below attire is recommended:
Short sleeve shirt or tank
Sports bra
Jogging pants or shorts if the lower body needs to be addressed.
Sean will work with your level of comfort.

Yes, all performance therapy sessions are tailored to everyone’s own individual needs and are not limited to those with a professional athletic background.
